A pair of brand new Siemens ACS-64 electric locomotives soak up some sun at Amtrak's Ivy City engine terminal in Washington DC on a chilly January 22nd, 2015. Amtrak 625 and 626 were built by Siemens near Sacramento, California - about as far from Amtrak's electrified lines as one can get! Photographed on railroad property with permission and full PPE.
