BNSF HKCKSPO powered by only a pair of Montana Rail Link SD45s (Nos. 355 and 326) heads west between Noxon and Heron, Montana, on September 26, 2014. Earlier that morning, a traction motor fire on a third MRL SD45 (No. 346) caused a delay as the crew had to put the fire out, set out the locomotive at Childs, and switch the 355 and 326 around to get a westward facing flare. With rain hitting the tent all night long at Noxon, we were treated to a few lucky moments of sun on this train the next day.
