"REMINDERS OF A RAILWAY'S PAST"
The fully loaded UBHF strains as 2 GP38-3's and 2 SD40-2's pull the 30 car heavy train up the mountain, passing by the former west end of the Sabillasville Siding and is approaching the steepest part of the Catoctin Grade. Remnants of the old Western Maryland still stand guard even during G&W operations. |
