Couplers are a wonderful invention! Here are a pair of Type E double shelf couplers on tank cars rolling along at about 40 miles per hour on BNSF Railway's Barstow to San Diego train, nicknamed the "Dego" by crews, in Victorville, California, on December 15th, 2014.
