This consist is the result of 2 different KB&S trains combining at Darrow, IL. The front 2 locomotives brought a cut of 30 NS empty's back from Lafayette to deliver to Darrow via the old NKP line, aka "The Horn", they delivered all their cars except for the one KB&S car they also had in tow. The rear 2 locomotives had earlier delivered a cut of cars to Danville and returned light back north. The light power from Danville came upon the Darrow move, after the Darrow delivery they combined their power for the trip north to Iroquois Jct. -- The old Webster tower can be seen at extreme left, this little building once guarded the approach of MILW and TP&W trains.
