Shortly after the CV was purchased by Railtex and became the NECR, southbound train 324 is seen crossing the often photographed Duxbury bridge near Waterbury Vt. The GP30 was one of two units that came to the Railtex property but did not last long as they had a tendency cough up flaming balls of carbon under heavy load causing many brush fires. They were of the property within 2 years. Kodachrome scan.
