| In what almost looks like a scrapping operation, is really a Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad crew preparing a locomotive for an off-season overhaul. Machinists remove appliances and other parts (and sometimes the easiest way to do that is with a cutting torch!) from D&SNG 2-8-2 K-36 No. 481 in front of the Durango roundhouse on a pleasant October 15, 2014. |
