DB V200 diesel-hydraulic No 220 051-7 climbs the Schiefe Ebene with the 07.51 Saarbrucken to Hof 'Frankenland' on a warm May afternoon. At this date diesels had begun to take over the work of the Hof 01 Pacifics and in less than a month they would be finished.
