Remarks & Notes
PCC streetcar # 1074 was built in 1946 by St.Louis Car Co for Twin City Rapid Transit Co. in Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota and ran later from 1953 till 2001 in Newark, New Jersey. Purchased by Muni, it is now painted in tribute to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which boasted the largest PCC fleet (745 cars !) in North America. Photo on the F-Market Street line from Fishermarket to Castro on the Embarcadero/Lombard Street.
