Remarks & Notes |
When a train has issues and can't move on it's own, a "rescue" locomotive is called in to pull the train to the shops for repair; just like one would call a tow truck for their disabled automobile. Today GE P32AC-DM #207 plays the role of the disabled vehicle and GP35r #102 mush tow 207 and it's train to Croton Harmon Shops from Grand Central Terminal. The crew waits for the clear signal to proceed north. |
