Remarks & Notes
There are not too many places you can ride a train from the 1930s in public service. Celebrating their 10th year of the NYC Transit Nostalgia Holiday Train couldn't be better with a 8 car train of pre-way R1/9 type cars. With wicker seats, ceiling fans, open windows and doors letting in the smell of brake dust and sound of groaning traction motors echoing off the subway walls, this was one of the best railroading experiences that myself and my girlfiend (pictured in the window) have had.

It's dark, hot and too much people in this mass transit transportation!
