| The DW&P ran a holiday special for employees from 1977 through 1982 using equipment from the LSRM and Missabe. Here the train has arrived from Virginia and a pair of RS11s will hook onto the rear for trips up the hill in Duluth. Missabe SD9 129 was along to provide steam heat for the passenger cars. Of course Santa was along to greet all the kids. You could say the Peg delivered him with pride! |
