Erie on the Valley
The Erie Railroad heritage unit has been an infrequent visitor to New Jersey, so its anticipated appearance on NS 211 brought many railfans trackside on this sunny but cold autumn day. 211 is seen passing through the interlocking at CP Potter. This was once the beginning of the single track portion of the Lehigh Line west to CP Bound Brook, but is now just a set of crossovers on the double track former Lehigh Valley main. |
