While it may be an overdone location, being 12 years old while taking this picture, Marias Pass was more awesome than I could have ever imagined. Having just completed the long, slow climb from the Great Plains up to the Continental Divide, this unit grain train will soon be descending the treacherous 1.8% drop down the west slope of Marias Pass into the Flathead River Valley.
