Remarks & Notes

One of Hallett Dock's switchers spots cars of taconite pellet chips/fines at the firm's unloading shed. This ore is from Keewatin Taconite and will be shipped from Hallett Dock by lake vessel to be used as sinter feed. In the upper right is a pile of iron nuggets produced by Mesabi Nugget that will be shipped out by tug/barge.
