"Schmoozing the New Customer"
Before the NS 66/67Z oil trains started running to NJ the new oil customer had to decide which class one railroad (CSX/NS) would be responsible for the delivery their trains. On November 21, 2013 Norfolk Southern had brought their Executive Train to New Jersey to offer the big wigs of both companies an opportunity to discuss business and see the route these oil trains would be taking. Here the OCS is seen coming down the Port Reading Secondary with 5 coaches, an HEP power car and only three of the four F's as the 4271 was OOS this past winter for upgrades. |
