| A pair of high hood SD40-2's look right at home as they rest at the old Southern Railway depot in Gainesville on a muggy September afternoon. This scene is no longer possible as both of these locomotives, and most high hood SD40-2's for that matter, have been rebuilt with the NS designed Admiral Cab. At the time of this posting, only two remain in active service. |
