Remarks & Notes
A washout near Chester, AR caused a derailment of the nocturnal A&M Fort Smith Turn in mid September. The lead locomotive rolled on its left side during the incident. Fortunately the crew did not sustain any serious injuries. The locomotive will be out of service a bit longer, but we were told #70 will be repaired in Springdale by the capable A&M mechanical department.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
