A pair of SD90's are working to hold back a loaded unit grain train on UP's 1% descending grade from Moyie Springs to Bonners Ferry, Idaho. The train is seen here about to enter Tunnel 4, high on the cliffs above the Kootenai River. BNSF's busy Kootenai River Subdivision is visible 400 feet below on the opposite side of the river. This train was handed off to UP from CP at the Eastport border crossing, a little over 20 miles north of this location.
