On November 8, 2012 Norfolk Southern held a ceremony for invited guests to view for the first time the Norfolk Southern Veterans unit. For those in attendance NS had two pieces of equipment on display, a recently completed SD60E rebuild and one of the F9A's used on their business train. The event began promptly at 9:00 am and after presentations from a few select speakers had concluded, a video was shown for guests to see the painting process of this locomotive, followed by a roll-out of the shops for the first time. As I've had this photo for two years, I planned to upload it for Veterans Day as I couldn't see more appropriate time to share such a photo. Thank you to everyone who currently serves and has served this great country.
