It's 7:16 PM and my fellow New Yorkers are transferring in a dash from the N or Q train to the No. 7 to further their journey from Manhattan deeper into Queens. The white skyscraper over the train is the former Citibank building at 53rd St and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. The blue skyscraper is 432 Park Avenue, also in Manhattan, and is the tallest residential building in the western hemisphere. To this long time New Yorker I must admit that I dislike the fact that it is even taller than the Empire State building.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
