GLLX 921, also known as "Miss Scarlet" - due to that name being painted on the end of the long hood - is ex-Twin Branch Coal 921, nee NW 921. After serving the N&W, it was acquired by the Twin Branch Coal Company in West Virginia. When that operation was closed down in 1998, the locomotive worked at Third Coast distributors in Grand Rapids, MI until 2001. It was then acquired by the Conrad Yelvington Stone Company and worked in Lansing, Michigan until 2004. At last report, the GP18 is still in Lansing, Michigan.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
