Brand new leader, fairly new train. CN 2892, a nearly brand new ES44AC is leading CN 709, a recent addition to the ever increasing fleet of oil trains entering Quebec. CN 709's counterpart, CN 708, is crude oil from western Canada that CP interchanges to CN at Winnipeg, and CN takes it to the Valero refinery near Quebec City. Here the westbound empties pass through Montreal West after a crew change with two ES44AC's for power (CN 2892 & CN 2860). The sun will set in about 45 minutes, but here it shines very strongly on the train as it curves.
