| Early morning and the sunrise is still a good ½ hour away as ex South African Railway Class 15F, No. 3046 and SAR Class 25NC, No. 3472, hold themselves ready for an arranged photo shoot at the Germiston (Johannesburg) yard / HQ of Reefsteamers, a steam preservation group. No. 3046 (4-8-2) was built in 1945 by NBL (North British Locomotive) and No. 3472 (4-8-4) was also built by NBL in 1954. |
