Remarks & Notes
"The Newest Addition in Boonton"

Shortly after the Morristown and Erie completed the hand-off of the U34CH, the URHS allowed those present to document the event in to shoot the locomotive on property for the first time. The weather soon took a turn for the worse and it started to rain very heavily. After the rail enthusiasts had left the yard they pulled the U-boat into the yard to set it off inside the yard as they currently have two other projects going on under the shed. the U34 is seen here passing some of the URHS's most recent and notable work, including Reading 284 which was down in Spencer North Carolina for the "Streamliners in Spencer" photo shoot as well as the recently repainted NYC 4083 in the unique century green paint scheme it once wore when it operated on the NYC. If the currently restored roster of locomotives is any testament to the quality of work in which this group is capable of producing I'm sure the EL 3372 will be another great restoration to be completed by this great group of hard working individuals. This photo was taken on URHS property with permission from the group. The yard is private property, however it is to my understanding they will have another open house for those who wish to view 3372 up close and personal.
