A Pot of Gold in Chama! After a 15-car doubleheader Saturday morning, a 10-car train 215 came into Chama with little fanfare, a lot of it in rain. After the train let everyone off, they pulled forward to allow the cars to be re-stocked.
As they were finishing the last few cars, rain started spitting out of the sky, and a couple rainbows formed! We walked up to where they were stopped from our spot to catch this, and it's a good thing we did, because shortly before they started pulling the sun disappeared. Here, C&TS 487 is stopped in the yard near the scale track (the scale can be seen in the bottom left corner).
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
