Secunderabad to Jaipur express is one of the first few passenger trains started on newly constructed Navi Amravati to Narkher railway line. It runs with new design passenger coaches that have been developed by Linke-Hofmann-Busch of Germany and produced by Rail Coach Factory in Kapurthala, This line has been constructed to bypass the saturated route between Badnera and Nagpur. Electrification work can be seen in progress on Pedhi river bridge, near Valgaon.
