Pete Lerro put together one of the most authentic photo freights to yet roll over the C&TS. In this view high above Windy Point it could almost be 1957. How many times over the past century has smoke drifted ahead of slow moving freight climbing the 4%, the stories this mountain could tell! This is one of my favorite views to watch a train climb Cumbres Pass.
