Deep in the Chickamauga Battlefield, Southern 4501 leads her train south (railroad east) on a Summerville Steam Special. The sun is poking through the trees at only one spot in this solemn location, where 34,624 men were wounded or lost after the Civil War battle 178 years ago. To this day, the battlefield is still a haunting place.
