"Crossing the Delaware River"
The sun popped out just in time to shoot CSX Q004 as it crosses the Delaware River on the famed Mill Rift bridge. Daylight trains on the Eastern end of the Southern Tier are quite rare as the only regularly scheduled freights on this segment of the line run under the cover of darkness. Only in extreme circumstances or in this case a detour is it possible to shoot trains here in daylight. |
