| Having just completed its 1.1% climb out of the Illinois River Valley, westbound doublestack train Q-NYCLAC (NS 21G) charges under the ATSF searchlights at Edelstein with a pair of Norfolk Southern units in charge. This was the second day in a row I caught this train with a good set of power (Day before with an NS D40-8C duo). The lead unit was originally built as CR (Conrail) 5550 back in April of 1993. |
