| Amtrak train no. 5, the California Zephyr winds around curves above Big Ten and heads into tunnel 1 on the climb out of Denver up the Front Range of the Rockies. At this time Amtrak was attempting to boost revenues by hauling priority freight and express as witnessed by the express cars on the rear of the train. |
