| Taking advantage of a late start from the north end, a shot I wanted to get with the shorter days was this one along the Connecticut River at Norwich, Vermont on the Washington County Railroad. The NPWJ - Newport to White River Junction - train is seen under dramatic dusk skies with the ex-Boston & Maine turned Vermont Railway GP40-2 308 and GMRC GP40 302 leading the 34-car train on the final few miles into White River Junction. A light cloud cover allowed the stars to shine through with constellations notable! Scene was lit by four AB1600 units at full power with appropriate spacing at ISO 400, 1/250th and F5. |
