| The end of the 2014 Fall Foliage tourist trains on the Vermont Rail System was marked this evening by the return of the Alco RS-1-powered train's return to its winter location in North Walpole, New Hampshire. The train - deadheading from Chester, Vermont back to North Walpole, is seen crossing Bellows Falls from the Town of Bellows Falls over the former Boston & Maine Cheshire Branch stone arch bridge. GMRC Engineer Scott Whitney gave it some genuine Alco smoke for the final leg into the New Hampshire terminal. |
