Looking incomplete with rods removed from the Roanoke, VA to Salisbury, NC ferry move, the lone surviving J-class locomotive sits on display at the Streamliners event before the impending restoration soon after the gathering. As of this posting, the Fire Up 611! team is moving at a great pace to have this excursion favorite up and running for the 2015 season, with the restoration nearly 50 percent complete.
