| I first encountered this westbound BNSF trackage rights train on UP’s Shafter sub while I was driving west on parallel Interstate 80 west of Salt Lake City. Maintenance of Way work near Aragonite siding delayed the train and allowed me to get well ahead of it and in place at my photo location near Arnolds Loop in Nevada long before its arrival. It is seen here on the upper level of the Silver Zone trackage exiting one of the several deep rock cuts here. The rear of the train is still rounding Arnolds Loop.The Canadian Pacific second unit was a nice surprise. |
