The English side. A pair of photos (click here and here to see) have been on rp.net showing the conductor's side of some of CN's C40-8's which are specially painted to commemorate CN's privatization in 1995. Here is a shot of the engineer's side, which is in English and faces the other way from the French message on the conductor's side. This is on CN 2115 which is trailing on CN 327 as it is temporarily stopped in Huntingdon, Qc. CN 2115 was built as CNW 8568 and later became UP 9080 when UP bought C&NW.
