An eclectic mix of both preserved and active rail equipment congregates at the Museum of Transportation after being displayed for the "Go by Train" event held the previous day. From left to right, the displayed locomotives includes EL SD45 #3607, NS SD40-2 #3435, DM&IR 2-10-2 #502, recently returned EMD FT demonstrator #103, and UP 1982. The Norfolk Southern unit was used to bring the FT demonstrator set in from Chattanooga, and the Mopac heritage unit was used to bring both the NS SD40-2 and the FT set from downtown St. Louis to the museum.
