Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific RP-20BD Y2608 - or, at least, most of it - is found at the old Manufacturers Railway enginehouse just outside the Budweiser brewery in Saint Louis, Missouri, on October 4th, 2014. Union Pacific calls this model RP20GE. This low emission locomotive, designed by Railpower Technologies and built by Super Steel Schenectady, Inc. (under contract to Railpower), was built from a GE B30-7A that began life as Missouri Pacific 4836 (and was, later, Union Pacific 236). Photographed on railroad property with permission and full PPE.
