Remarks & Notes 
The Ontario Northland operated the Northlander train using equipment obtained from Trans-Europ Express (TEE) service, which used diesel equipment at that time because of the difficulty of running electric engines across nations with differing electrification systems. Eventually the decision was made to drop the onboard engine in favor of an FP7Am, taken from the ON fleet at that time. One of those engines is pulling at the other end of this train. I can't confirm but I think the destination of this train was North Bay, ON.

Note the telltales handing down. I don't recall the area after all these years, but I presume those warned crewmen walking on the tops of EB trains as to the presence of what I presume was the Bathurst Street bridge.
