| Behind stored RS1 21 is a classic Erie bay window caboose. It is Tri-State Railway Historical Society's recently acquired former Erie Railroad bay window caboose C330. The group plans a cosmetic restoration of the caboose. It will eventually join the Heritage Caboose Fleet, featuring both Tri-State and the Whippany Railway Museum's fleet of historic cabooses that are featured on numerous caboose trips each year. The caboose fleet will see service at the Whippany Railway Museum's Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, October 5. To purchase tickets, visit www.whippanyrailwaymuseum.net |
