Remarks & Notes
The "H1" Dash 9s are always one of the more elusive BNSF units to catch on point on the Selkirk Sub. As usually the case, several factors have to come together to make a decent shot of something unusual or rare that has a stubborn habit of eluding your lens over the years. This was a last minute decision to pull up to Voorheesville Crossing and thankfully early afternoon sun still favored an eastbound movement. This big K038 with two "H-1"s splicing a lone NS Gevo would pull into Selkirk and tie down in the north yard where it would lay over a good 24 hours before finally departing for the River Sub until the following day(in which I would miss it's mid-day passage). Timing.
