Remarks & Notes

A rare treat was had on September 27, when after a colorful foliage day - and the reason I headed up to North Conway to begin with - the Boston & Maine F7A 4266 (sort of the ultimate heritage B&M unit...) would lead an evening Dinner/Wedding Extra train north to Bartlett. While awaiting departure, the train is seen resting at the North Conway Depot after the pair of gold geeps arrive from their earlier duties in the background. The sun had nearly set behind the White Mountains, but with a little help from four Alien Bees B1600s, the scene lost the shadows and jumped to life.
