Southern Pacific "Daylight" 4-8-4 No. 4449 is heading south from Portland, Ore., to Sacramento, Calif., for RailFair. For the descent down the mountains out of Black Butte, Calif., Southern Pacific added a pair of squeaky-clean GP40R's, which would remain with the train until Lakehead.
