Battling Broken Bone... A quartet of veteran EMD's - including two leased from Progress Rail - struggle up the steepest grade for Eastbound trains on BNSF's Devils Lake Sub, known as Broken Bone Hill. BNSF engineer Quimby is doing everything he can to keep his 4 EMD's and 95 car Minot, ND to Northtown, MN manifest moving, but gravity, tonnage and a stiff headwind has them down to a crawl. Luckily for him, the top is near, as in less than two miles they'll crest the top and have a downhill stretch to Knox.
