Remarks & Notes
451's conductor rides the trailing unit to keep eyes on the trails, parks and grade crossings they will encounter as they back up to rejoin their train after setting out Huntsville traffic in the yard. When, as today, the train is too long to fit in town without blocking grade crossings while switching, they stop about a mile south of the yard and take in only the required cars.
