Remarks & Notes

The 22nd Annual Glory Days Festival was held from September 12-14 at White River Junction, Vermont. The event was attended by railroad rolling stock from Pan Am Railways, Vermont Rail System, New England Central and the Amtrak Exhibit Train. From left to right in the photo are New England Central Railroad's GP40-2W 3015, Amtrak's southbound Vermonter train #55 pulling through the displayed equipment with P42-9DC 95, Amtrak Exhibit Train with P40-8 822 on the south end and P42-9DC 145 on north end, then Vermont Rail System's excursion train with VTR GP40-2W 311 on the south end and the Alco RS-1 405 on the north end, followed by Pan Am Railways office car special train with PAR-1 and 2 facing south and in the background, the Maine Central and Boston & Maine heritage GP9s. Thanks to all who came out and for ALL the railroads for making this a great event! This is the first time in probably 50 years that there's been more than three passenger trains at the White River Jct. depot!
