For the first time in 12 years, Durbin & Greenbrier Valley's former Moore & Keppel Climax No. 3 leads a southbound photo freight alongside a dehydrated, yet calm Greenbrier River on a dreary September morning in Pocahontas County. The Climax, which operates daily passenger runs between Durbin and the end of line has not been turned south for well over a decade. Thanks to the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad for their cooperation in building a photo freight for visiting railroad photographers.
This is dedicated (with permission) to the skilled and gifted photographer - Chase Gunnoe - who regularly posts and is on staff with RP. I believe he deserves a gallery showcasing his remarkable photos. This is for you Chase! (More great photos to come!)
