Thoroughbreds: A close up look into the high short hood of NS 3280, a former Southern Railway SD40-2, and the conventional EMD cab on NS 3486 (of Burlington Northern heritage respectively). The latter of the two was acquired 2012 from NREX and repainted into the Horsehead scheme, while the old Southern vet still wears a fading paint job from 1998. Before long, 3280 will make a trip to Altoona for upgrades including a new Admiral cab, taking away a little bit of the Southern with it.
