Remarks & Notes

The D&RGW rostered a Budd dome/club car called the 'Silver Shop'. It was used infrequently on the Rio Grande Zephyr but did come in handy when the Silver Banquet dining car was down for repairs. Riders heading to Utah from Colorado enjoy conversation, a cold beer, playing cards, or reading a good novel while riding in the Silver Shop. April 14, 1979
